Hi guys, I'm using another pc atm because mine won't work. I'm running on windows xp. When I turn on the computer, it seems fine, then after I get to the load-up screen it turns blank for a moment which is usual- then at this time it's supposed to take me to the log-on screen, but instead it restarts again. I have no clue whats wrong- maybe power, virus, etc.. Please someone help!
My girlfriends computer did that same thing. It would only start normally if I started it up for some reason. After about a week of doing that, it just wouldn't boot up period. So I had wipe it clean and now it works great.
well it could quite possibly be a virus, try booting into safe mode and scan for virus's if it doesnt boot in safe mode msg back here and get some more suggestions, formatting should be used as a last resort only
its a type of virus but i forgot what its called, try scanning your comp with several differnt scanners because that kind of virus goes right into your comp
