Sorry if i sound dumb or just a noob but my brother wants to play World of warcraft with me. But when he plays it on his computer the graphics are really bad and not smooth, does he just need a graphics card?

In order to get a better idea of what the problem could be we'll need the system specs from the computer.

WoW isn't erally a graphics dependant game as its an MMORPG it would make more use of an extra 1gb of ram rather than a gfx update.

Although... if youre running off of onboard graphics then obviously a new card (if possible) would help.

Only way to tell would be for you to post your specs.
