alright, so, a while ago, i got a virus on my comp, and it changed my desktop to a blue thing with a with a black box in the mid saying "spyware infection" blah blah blah. after i got rid of the virus, i went to change the desktop back, but it wont let me select a differnt one. if i click on one, nothing happens, it doesnt even notice the click. when i start up, or shut down my comp, i can see my former desktop for a second, before the spyware thing pops up, or the comp shuts down. does anyone have any idea how to fix this???
boot in safemode and run ad aware and ewido antimalware (transfer over with a usb stick from a clean pc) allow them to run then reboot normally. if your still getting it download hijackthis and transfer it over and run it in safe mode then choose log mode and i'll forward it on to tech support
I had that just did what .ZERO said. ran it in safemode, spyware/virus scans, changed things back to normal and was fine
