Help With Brightness

    i need help bad, i can make really nice sigs, but i see theese realyl cool sigs ppl make wher theres dark areas and then theres big bursts of light HOWD U DO IT, if u know what im talkin about please reply.

    Try going over your sig with a black brush and white brush in different parts, and then set this layer to overlay. You could also fiddle around with the contrast settings to create a bigger contrast of colour.

    Uh, set blending mode to darken?

    ye i heard bout set blending to darken, wjhere is that, in blending options when u right click on the layer?

    Darken is on the options where you get overlay and soft light, near the top.

    want good pointers put it in the Your Stuff ......... they will comment like crazy

    the background isnt good because it dont match the render maybe for your background do something like this

    SET COLORS TO DEFAULT BY PRESSING D
    Background-Clouds, Grunge brush it some
    Layer1-Grey Grunge Brushing
    Layer2-White Grunge Brushing(layer on overlay or soft light)
    Layer3-Black Grunge Brushing
    Then select>all and then edit>copy merged and hit Ctrl+V go to Filters>Blur>Gaussin Blur at 4 set layer to OverLay

    taaaaaaadaaaaaaaaa add in the render add some coloring and there ya go bro

    ok you gutta use black and white colors, then use contrast. it is easy then to apply a color balance layer... lolz
