Hey folks, here is the problem. A friend and I have been trying to network a game (battle for middle earth 2) and have been unsuccessful so far. Basically, what happens is that we get to the loading screen and it has two loading bars, one for each player. I can see his and my own, but my friend can only see his, and doesnt even register that mine has loaded, or is loading. We can both see each other in the lobby, and both join each others games, but once the game is loading up, this happens everytime. It also happens with command and conquer generals. I am running Vista Home Premium, and he is running XP. I have tried turning my network discoverable settings on, if that would make a difference, I dont know. We are both successfully hooked up to the network for everything other than playing games.. It just seems like there is a setting somewhere which is preventing his laptop from registering that mine is loading. Firewall settings are all sorted too. Oh, and we are both running identical versions of the game (we both installed at the same time, and I made sure of it, so we aren't both running different patched versions). Any help on this subject is greatly appreciated. +rep and all my credits to whoever solves it
