Well, going to buy a video card mid summer or so. Need a decent card. Good performance, no more than $400CAD. PCI-E.
are you absolutely, positutely sure that your computer has pci-e? if so... get this: 7600: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...1185&CatId=1560 or 7900: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...1183&CatId=1560
Does the $400 include tax? And if so, will you be buying it before or after June 1st? This looks like a good one if your not counting tax... http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku...anufacture=eVGA
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814150130 $129 US dont know cad will be but its a good card + its cheap
Like I said, I'll be buying it mid summer because by then I'll have a good chunk of change saved up from pre-summer and from my summer job. Anyways, I'm %1000 sure that I do have pci-e. I may also be looking for a new pcu, so you guys can post some as well. I mainly use them for gaming, and I have a socket 939 or whatever mobo. Oh, also I currently have a Ati Radeon x1800pro or whatever.
it's either x1600pro or x1800pro, i have no idea. either way, i just want to buy a good video card which i won't have to upgrade for a year or two. anyone got cpu suggestions? right now i have a amd 64x 3200+
I have an x1600Pro on my other computer I have used an x1800pro and I am currently using an x1900xtx so... let's say this much, I know about ATi. SO, I can tell you right now, the cards, even this summer, will be outdated soon, so there is really no point. DX10 IS on the horizon now. So, there is no need to upgrade your already good card. ATi x1XXX series run great. So, just keep it till the DX10 set.
Anyone know about when DX10 is set to release? I guess I could just keep saving money till these come out so I can buy a really good one or whatever. Anyways, you guys can post some socket 939 cpus if you want to, I'll probably be buying on of those too. Also no more than $400 CAD.
