Help Me Completing A Tutorial :)

Hey all

I am new to photoshop and i trying to do some tutorials.
Some i could complete ( very less ) but most i cant. Now i think lets ask you guys for help so i can complete all .

This is the tuturial i am trying.

I added my stock to the white tag but when i need to brush it goes wrong.
In the tuturial you see the nice glow and the render aint touched but when i try to brush everthing is black.

Can you help me ?

- Whats a C4D?
- How can i create it ? ( maybe link a good tutorial ? )

Choose a smaller brush size, and don't go over the render.

 

make a layer under the layer, or set the layer over to something like soft light or loghten or overlay..
You should allso use a smaler brush..
C4D is effects you add to your pictures, you can find them in resources forum, or you can make them your selves in the programm Cinema4d, but i think the programm costs money.. =/
