ok I have officially gone insane. I swear I saw a link for an acrillyic case. Anyways get an antec or tagan psu, they will perform and have a better rep than rosewell. [/b][/quote]
    lol.
Ok, I'm going with an antec 550w power supply. Now it's time for mother board and processor oh and video card!. I see these ones called sli? What exactly are they? It sounds like they allow for alot better performance?
    This mother board looks nice!

Well I've been refered to newegg by alot of people, I agree that it's hard to navigate but it seems like they have good customer support etc.
I'm also looking at tiger direct, that's probably where I will get some of my stuff.
About the specs I posted, should that be able to run 'all' of the newest games? Like fear, css, etc? And do you think that it would run 'fast'
It seems like the individual parts are expensive, but I want to make sure that they all utalize each other, I would hate to buy a graphics card but not use its full potential because the processor or something couldn't handle it? If you know what I mean?

thesreenstyle what you posted for your setup was good. However you do not need to spend $200 on a mobo especially as I am assuming you dont oc and chances are you wont use the extra bandwidth with the full speed SLI.

Get this mobo as it can be easily modded in about 1 minute with a pencil to support SLI.

Thanks, so now all I have to worry about is a video card? What are your suggestions for that?

nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra, two if you do the SLI mod. Or if you've got the extra cash to throw around, a 7800/7800GT/7800GTX/7800 Ultra.

And if you want ATI, the X1800 is the top of the line. However, I hear that the X800 GTO is a very good card.
