Alright this is really starting to bug the crap out of me. I am unable to install Flash for the web so I can view some things or play web games. I went to Add/Remove and looked for Internet Explorer to do the repair thing but there is no Internet Explorer listed. So I doubled checked by clicking the "Show Updates" box, still nothing listed. I went to Microsoft's download page and tried downloading Internet Explorer Beta 2 for service pack 2 but that said it couldn't install because the registry wouldn't allow it to write. I am admin on my computer so I have full rights to everything. When I tried reinstalling Internet Explorer 6.0 it said that I had a new version of Ineternet Explorer and couldn't install. I've checked for everything Internet Explorer and nothing. Also I did a search for IE.inf and tried installing that but it's now asking for the stupid Windows XP Service Pack 2 cd, which I don't have. (I will not use anything other than Internet Explorer so please do not suggestion another browser.) Please Help! Thanks
Seriously I know you said nothing but IE, but Firefox works way better, way faster. So I would suggest that. Plus it will save you time on getting this set up. Firefox is easy.
