HoI2's a nice strategy game with a very steep learning curve, but it's very cool to play against the AI with. You can make the US a dictatorship, have Canada conquer Portugal, Spain, Central & South America, and the United States by 1945; make Poland an impenetrable fortress, or even play as a tiny country like the Guang Xi Clique or Iraq. If you buy Doomsday, it goes beyond WWII and turns the Cold War into Allies vs. USSR. It's great, even if you play as an annexed country like Poland or Germany. Download the demo if you will, it'll seem complicated at first. At the end though, it's very satisfying. Anyone besides me even looked into HoI2? ^_^
