They're not all done yet, but here's what I've got so far. Photos from Maui, click the dA link for specific details :). I'll throw more in as I complete them, but it's really mostly just a weekend project, so we'll see how long it takes me.

Second one has beautiful colors, not sure how I feel about the rock in the foreground though. Loving most of the rest, including the black and white one, awesome tones. Took me a while to figure out that other black and white one was a fire dancer, nice capture. Color version any good?

Would have been illegal to get close enough to keep the rock out of the foreground. Funny enough, you can hike down in the crater, but not climb on the rocks. If it wasn't so contrasty, it would actually compliment the photo by adding framing, but the blacks cause it to be a bit of a distraction. I'm not sure if I can do anything about that or not.

The color one of the fire dancer was good (with some adjustments. There was an ugly background), it wasn't one of those "it has too much noise so I'll convert it to b&w" photos that I see all the time. I just preferred it in black and white since it emphasizes the shape and movement and simplified the photo.

I had my first go at HDR too. Photomatix doesn't flatten the tones, but Photoshop does, so I'm trying to figure out how to combine it all for a good product. We'll see if I can get this HDR thing to look good, and not scream "I'm fake!"
