Harddrive/windows

    Ok my question is can i install windows to a harddrive on one computer then i take the harddrive that i juat installed windows on and move it to another pc and wiill it work if i boot it up, because the old PC, the Cd rom is damage and it wont read the windows Cd.

    btw, i two HHD, one is completely blank and ready.

    Truly, the easiest way would be to get a new DVD player, or an external one (goes via USB).

    it would work... sort of... you'd have fun messing with the drivers though...

    why not just move the DVD drive around instead of the harddrive though?
