Life is never perfect, but my god:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=B...mp;aq=f&oq=

You know what's very ironic about that retarded statement? Why are you listening to MUSIC then. You're using and destroying music as it is by just sucking it try of any musical value and upping this retarded, fake, shallow, lack of realistic description of lyrics. My god.

And yeah, my life is SO perfect. However I know my answer to my problems in life isn't listening to awful music for no reason besides ----ty lyrics. They don't solve my problems, they're just what they are.

On a musical note, I guess to add more to the hardcore/metal thread more than exemplifying Disillusion's ignorance:

    On metal:
    Baroness - Red Album
I'm sure some of those who are into technical kind of metal, hints of prog, but still pretty rooted to the simplicity of the basic instruments, would like this band. They haven't achieved musical nirvana, but their Red Album is a very solid, fun, and great musical work. The opening track alone gives atmosphere and then a straight-forward punch in your face metal.

If you want it, PM me a request.

    On the more Hardcore side:
    Drive Like Jehu - (Self-Titled)
The opening track ALONE is great, if only for the drumming alone. Very surprised at how great this album sounds on high quality, especially the opening track. Like Baroness, these guys never were perfect, far from it, however they had plenty of solid material. Fun, hardcore, great quality drumming. Fantastic and near-perfect opening track. I love it.

If you want it, PM me a request.

I'll give it to you, but I won't post it here. Don't want any chances.

Right now I'm listening to a Progressive Screamo band called I Would Set Myself On Fire For You.

It's pretty good. They use a lot of other instruments besides guitar, bass and drums that aren't too common in this type of music.

I when I think of "progressive" screamo my first thoughts are City of Caterpillar, Envy, Circle Takes the Square, Pageninetynine, etc. etc.

Yeah they're pretty much like that. They also incorporate jazz into their songs which is pretty good.

I listen to all of those bands as well.

Okay now I'm interested. Haha. I'll look into them.

Edit - I'm loving them, Neuron. Like, seriously. Gorgeously done, wavers in tempo now and then (sometimes too slow when I really want them to punch someone in the gut), but aside from that on few occasions, really solid stuff and great atmosphere. Loving it.
