I'm in need of a new hard drive because I'm running out of room. Please pick the hard drive from future shop or Tiger direct( not including online)

    Futureshop
    Tiger Direct
Also please keep it under 100 :) I'm also wondering will any hard drive work on my computer or are there certain ones? My specs are:

    P4 Intel 2.4ghz North Wood
    512MB ram
    Mobo: Intel D865GLC
    Chipset: i865P/PE/G/I848P
    Socket 478 mPGA

If you need any more specs please ask.

Also I plan on keeping my old hard drive plus adding the new one. Is there anything I have to do? This is my first time installing a hard drive :)

I beleive that i865 supports SATA, can you verify?

    Merged Post:

open case, place harddrive into the HD tray, use a screw driver and affix ti with a few smal screws, plug in a power cord, plug in an ATA cable/ribbon

Yeah it does. Also everytime I turn on my computer I get this message saying something about Intel Boot agent and it scans my hard drive? I might have been because I plugged in another hard drive to see if it worked. Is there any way to get rid of that?
