My second hard drive with all my photoshop work failed the other day. Like it still works, but if I have it plugged in when I start up my computer, it will crash it. I'm attempting to hook it into my second computer to see if I can access it on there, and if I can, is there anyway that I can copy the info off it? Like is there a program that will make an exact copy of my hard drive? I have about 30 gigs of info on it, and just doing a normal copy and paste takes waaay too long. Any help is greatly appreciated ~UPA
If its booting on another computer its not harddrive failure but your computer isnt reading it because the cable connecting it fried.. If you can get it connected virusscan it because if its running but hardly its probably a virus.. If it doesnt find a virus take the risk and clone it onto the other harddrive with norton clone or something.. Google it theres a trial somewhere.. Good luck hope I helped.
Thanks man, I'm at school right now, but I'm going to try to hook it up to my second one when I get home. If it's just the cable I have plenty of those. I'll post again if it doesn't work +rep for the quick help
