Hard Drive Error

    Ok so I try to use Partition Magic and I find that my hard drive has the following problem:

    Info: Logical starting at 230246400 is not one head away from EPBR.


    I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. Someone help :(

    Partition Magic has some wild and crazy bugs. Most known for disaster. I assume you can't access your HDD at all?
    Try http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk (TestDisk). But you will need to know how your harddisk partitions tables and whatnot. (Can be found by google)

    There is also http://students.cs.byu.edu/~codyb/ Beeblebrox, but its complicated. Although more effective...

    I'm just trying to re-size my Windows partition so I can make another partition with Mandriva on it to dual boot with.
