I don't think they're gonna pull it off good like SpiderMan or XMen. I just can't see HollyWood making a great movie with the sh*t they let out. "Doom"..... "Resident Evil clones"... uuhh. I'm not hyped about any of these game-to-movies we get now. I think I've enjoyed a modern movie with great actors more then a couple of CG special effects with poor actors.
Yeah and people were still hyped about "Doom". Despite how big the gaming community is on a certain franchise, it doesn't mean the movie is going to be a "master piece". I'm sure Kong did fine at the box office.. But I really can't see a Halo movie being more then another "Doom". It will probably show a few marines vs a few Elites "guys in suits".. and that's it. They probably won't go as far as "vehicles" or "more enemies" are concerned. But, even though my assumptions are really premature at this time.. I've just lost faith on movies made from gaming franchices... bleh..
i mean have you seen his latest movie king kong? those are purely gfx and special effect through the whole movie. i havnt hardley seen one scene which didnt last 15 min of REAL scenes. peter jackson is obsessed with gfx and special effects....period. he also stated that special effects are key to making successful movies, it is also a "touch up" to make the movie exciting. and what makes you think peter jackson wants to direct halo? isnt it obvious? SPECIAL EFFECTS! think about it, aliens, spaceships, super plasma beams, sci-fi war, i mean i bet this is like his dream or something.
do you know if it will be in the version of like the red vs blue videos, the game cut scenes or with actual people?
i actually found out how to do all that stuff (have the software) but it takes too much time. I cant believe they actually do that.
His wet dream rotf :lol: (find it offesive sorry) Peter Jackson is great for special effects the LOTR+King Kong alone prooves it.
