Halo 2 got old. It was even worse with underage gamers playing it. There are just some 12 year olds that I can't put up with, immaturity ruined a decent game. I just hope Halo 3 has a way to weed out the younger more immature players.
I love people who've played Halo like once and say it sucks. Especially those who have only played Halo 2. Halo got its well deserved hype from the original version. Is the storyline great? Not really, its average. Graphics? Acceptable. What makes it great is the multiplayer side of it. Very well balanced and can cater to skilled players as well as those who are just starting out. With games like CS, if you're new to the game, you're going to get massacred, guaranteed. With Halo, its simple enough to pick it up quick. But there is also a precise and complexe side to it once your skill level gets to a certain level. Halo 2...well, its still good but can't compare to Halo 1. They ruined the pistol which was one of the two weapons that took a lot of precision and skill and added a whole bunch of close range and melee weapons which imo is way too noobish.
Halo 3 should meet up to the reputation of the other 2 games.... but..hey its all in the hands of bungie and the other staff members...but i'm going to say that halo 3 is probally going to blow all our minds...nobody is going to be ready for what the game is going to show us...most likely..... going to be game of the year... -King-
I think that the campaign for H1 was awesome, and the multiplayer for H2 is awesome. Although it does get old after a while, so does any other video game. what really pisses me off is when people say that halo 2 is a bad game; when it is really an average game that was set up with very high standards of excellence. because it was set up from a game that had amazing ratings, people saw that it was a good game (not as good as they had hoped) and said that it sucked. none of that probably made sense in this post, but it made sense in my mind. off topic: does anybody know when/if halo 2 is coming out for pc?
