do you have any idea how long a major graphics overhaul would take? it would kill halo3, they'de be over budget and way behind schedule.
Urm what? The games not schedueled to come out untill fall. The games pre-alpha, like the development of a lot of games the graphics are left to last and the gameplay/game mechanics are worked on first. Higher polygon models, higher resolution textures and HDR and other lighting effects will be added during the end of the development of the game.
sic... the assault rifle is back. if its anything like the one in halo 1 then i'm pumped... the smg sucks compared to it.
