Half life 2 rocks!! I name it one of the best games of the year. Just to see the difference from Halflife 1 and Halflife 2 is amazing. There are SO many different things you can do.

HL2 was good, but the bloody sound problem happered it down major for me. plus the fact it took me 2 1/2 houres to get it installed and playable, steam was annoying at first, saying i needed to install the game after i spent 2 hour installing it in the first place!! Other than that i enjoyed it alot
AMD 64 3000+ 512Mb DDR RAM ATi Radeon Mobility M10 HL2 detects everything top with the exception of AA and 800x600 resolution.
it would have taken me 20mins but got cab errors, found out u had to install everything to complete the installation. THEN steam had problems and the rest is history.
Half Life 2 is amazing. I had a few problems with the game the first time I played - first, I couldn't find the way out of the plaza (had to climb the ladder in that alley), then I got annoyed by the helicopter dropping mines on the airboat, then I got annoyed with the lack of ammo in Ravenholme. I was beginning to wonder what all the fuss was about. However, as soon as I got past Ravenholme, the game was pure quality all the way. Shame on me for being a sceptic. I'm officially converted. There may not have been much of a story line, but the way in which the story and characterisation are handled is second to none.
