What the hell is up with all theses damn forums getting hacked man. What is the point of hacking them in the first place.
In the eyes of a hacker there could be many reasons why you would want to hack a forum. You could want to spite the person whom is the admin. Though, if you don't know them then I wouldn't know why do it either. You could just want information that you couldn't get while just being a member. If you can get the information through hacking free, then they hack. It could also just be to see if they can. Believe it or not, a lot of people like to see if they just CAN hack things and not just hack them to find stuff. So, to tell you the truth, there are many reasons and points as to why they would hack forums but, only the hacker initially knows why he/she did it.
or too get stuff for free like the guy on shout just got a bunch of tuts, psd's , and other stuff for free, then he just screwed it up, thats why it wasnt the BHU..... and in the case of gr people have hacked to get credits, to sell
Useless thread in my opinion, so many reasons. Ie you where on holiday and you told your other admin and now he banned you and doesn't want to talk. What are you going to do? Talk and if it doesn't work hack the board? There could be so many reasons.

I think if you know who hack the forum like shout does you show have the right to sue. For something like destruction of property.
I see... but if they really knew how to hack and everything, they wouldn't use Brute Force and they would hack the right way. See, people give hackers a bad name. I think it is a disgrace. You don't go and ---- ---- up. You just ----in' mess around with ----, get what you need and leave. That's all I have to say. QFT. I hate the disgrace to the term "hacker". Those little kids need to find a life, and quit screwing up forums just for the hell of it.
It is a disgrace when "KIDS", you are exactly right, hack. For anything, they use brute force and they get cought every time... it's time hackers unite and teach some people some real technuiqe... though, I will stop with that.

There are many ways to do it. From what I've seen, SQL injection seems to be most popular, but, as I said, there are multiple ways it can be done.
