edit: can we get the ability to remove 'edited by: ' legend at the bottom? I don't have the option and the ads are still all over on the retired staff, not even donators have to see those =)

Damn right, when I was moved up to IRC mod my first post was relating to that I was virtually demoted from donator, as i lost pm space, editted by legend, ads, etc.
