i'm not giving the c3d file for any reason.

for the texture read the other c3d tut.
you creat the texture in a program like photoshop and then apply it to the object in c3d.
dont create the texture in the shape of the object. create it as a big square of rectangle.
and you apply the diamond texture to the front face of the object only.

just tweak the position and rotation of the group and single objects till it looks right.

you shouldnt all be jumping on this bling project, learn the tools on easier projects before getting frustrated on this bling.

learn to walk before you run.

 

On what axis do I rotate the GROUP and what axis do I rotate the OJECT (aka:The text). This is what I am working on http://www.myfilestash.com/userfiles/muna5...%20Animated.c3d can you please download the file, fix it for me and give it back to me so I can study how you did it.

1. How did you get the text to be like nice and big and streched out. I used the same font and size but it doens't end up like yours. And when I use the same size as yours, its way to big to even fit in the black box.

Me and you are using the same font and why is mines diffrent? Look this is what I made



2. No matter how hard I try, I just can't figure out how to do the animation. Look at the animation you have and look at mines! How do you get it to aniamte? I just can't do it right. Please help me with the animation, its so hard, I beg you. I am bending down to my knees in front of you and crying. I bet you that I would fully understand how to do this if you and me chat live. Please give me step by step procedure on how to animate it.

Also when I use the dimond texture what I do is first type in the text. Then I go to photoshop and make the dimaiond part and select all and CTRL X. Then what I do is in C3d I select the text object then I deactive all the face expect for the FONT one. then I paste the textrue. But why cna't i still see that diamond texture on the text?

 

I dont know if im missing something easy and stupid, but the only thing i cant figure out ho wto do is make it a nice chain link, i can make it, but it looks all stupid and square like. . . How do you make the regular chainlinks??? THanks

i have one little problem. when i'm making it, it doesn't all fit in the black space, what can i do to make the black space bigger, but keep the size of the chainlinks.

Ok guys I have been waiting a long time and no one is helping me. After a long time I started from scratch but I just can't animate it. Here is the .c3d file. Please download it and help me out. I just cant animate it. Can someone teach me how to do it.

Also for some reason the dimond texture is not showing up. Its not working. SOmeone help.

commander, i'm feeling for you... these are the settings i used, although i'm sure they're not as good as G70's... i just kept experimenting around till i found something i thought looked close.

for frame 1

put in x is -5
y is 10 (or 5) ? can't remember now
z is -5

for frame 10

x is 5
y is -10 (or -5) ?
z is 5

 

What font did you use that is hot?
