Someone please hlep me. I have been waiting for a long time

Its not working for me. This is what I made so far. But how do I it? I have the Cool 3d trial version



In the tut in step number 3 it says copy and paste! How do I do this? The way I did it is by selecting the first grpahic object 1 and then Edit>>Copy. The Edit>>>Paste. Then with the little hand I moved the image and rotated it. I kept doing it until one side is done.

Now lets go to step number 4 and 5. How do I group it and how do I copy it and how do I turn it 180 degress.

 

Ok I finnaly go it to work. But now I am confused about something else. Ok first of all I have 2 groups. They are both copies of each other. One gropu is for the right side and the other one is for the left. Its is the chain.

Then I made the download link. I make another group for that. And then i have to make the ring! How do I make the ring? Do I have to make a new design? Like where you draw the circle? How do I then change the color of the ring?

Finally after I make the ring, what do I have to do? I made the dimond text in the Photsoshop but after that I am totally confused. Can someone expalin to me? I am new to Ulead Cool 3D so like if you are going to say do BLAH BLAH, then show me how to do BLAH BLAH beacause I don't know how to do BLAH BLAH.

 

to group open the object manager (view/object manager)
ctrl click the objects you want to group
then hit the "group objects" button

to turn the group 180°, select the group in the dropdown box and ROTATE it 180° on the Y axis

When I rotate the Pendant Grounp, do I use the right click part or the Left Click part? On which AXIS is it suppose to move on?

nice tut but I have a question when you add the diamond texture to the text or logo did you adjust the light settings and the bevel settings because I had to adjust them to make it look that and I still cant get it to look right help me

you make the downlink object
then you make the ring object (two concentric circles) and you group those two in the "pendant group"

then make the pendant and add to the pendant group
the sway (GIO ) rotation is applied on the pendant group and on the Z axis, which is achieved either by typing in the numbers or hold rightmousebutton while moving.
you can do some X or Y rotation tweeking.

 

hey guinnes can you please give me the .c3d file of the chain so i can put my own ring under it? I give you 10 credits for it.

Ok I make the downlink and then the ring. They I type in the text and then connect it to the ring. Then I go to Photoshop and type in the same text and put in the dimond effect. Then I CTRL + Click on the Layer and copy it. Then I go to C3D and click on the text object and paste the texture.

Do I have to do anything else to the texture? I mean, when I paste it, it doesn't really look like it has a dimond texture on it. Do I have to do anything else to it? If so please tell me and tell me exactly how to do it.

Animation part is some I am also confused about. First on the 1st frame, do I RIGHT CLICK to animate? If I LEFT CLICK the text moves away from the ring and it looks weird. Then on the 10th frame what do I do? Also do I have to put the PING MODE to ON or OFF?

Also, look at the text! Why does't it show the dimond textture.

 

make the border smaller I had the same problem

 

What do you mean by make the border smaller? Which border? And how do I do it

 

the border is in the bevel settings just adjust the number, you may also have to adjust some of the light settings to make the texture look like diamonds that is what I had to default settings didnt work for me

 

Ok what about the aniamtion question I have? Can you help me with that? Also Guinness70 is it possilbe for you to give me the .c3d file or whatever its called so I can study it?
