Everyone that has WoW should comment on this and tell me if im accurate...i have nothing against warcraft but WoW is stupid...

meh, i find WoW to keep me busy longer with more entertaining quests, where GW happens to have a lot of quests, most of which are useless, long and boring after you do them the first time.

also, WoW gets alot more expansions to the regular game than GW does. I personally loved GW my first time through, but now its just BLAH! especially since its flipping impossible for me to get into HoH parties since im stuck in europe servers (someone cracked my account and used my territory changes) and they are 6-10 hours ahead of me and never am on when I am.

    i do... lol

by expansions i mean expansions to the game in general, not overall expansions. as the updates get you new quests and stuff in WoW, where GW is usually just them nuking a popular build, and thats about it for GW lol

I have played almost every mainstream mmo out there and i thing GW and WoW both have their strong points. In wow You are always around many people. But in Gw you are almost by you self when your out hunting etc. Which can have its ups and downs you know. But none have givin me the enjoyment everquest did when it was first released :)

Okay, I am a PvP person in Guild Wars. I've never played WoW, but this is what I have aquired from it.

In WoW, the PvP is very skill based. But it's also individual skill. In Guild Wars, the PvP is VERY team based as well as Individual skill. I prefer the PvP in Guild Wars, because the system is setup much better.

It's so much easier to get to level 20 in GW then to get to level 60 in WoW. In GW I find myself paying for runs to high level places where I can run with a group and farm to level 20 in no time, in WoW you can't do that so it's longer and more of a challenge. I like both games but prefere WoW because the missions actually have meaning. GW is kinda weird because you craft all your armor instead of finding it, that is helpful but takes all of the fun out of running instances for it.

There will always be strong and weak details about these games, and not to mention they are totally different on account that you pay for WoW and GW is free.

Ive played both games and im offering my comments ^^.
Guild Wars has a very good PvP system and it rewards more skill than time played unlike the WoW battlegrounds, its just a 24hour grind for honor. Whereas IMO Guild Wars lacks content comparing to WoW, theres still like tons of things to do and challenges to overcome.
Guild Wars is built for casuals where you will enjoy it with just a few hours. While WoW, is more of a grindfest and not suitable for people without patience

I'm interested very much in playing Guild Wars.

World of Warcraft though had a form of redundancy after awhile for me, though. The quests weren't so grand and some of them pissed me off. Though, the expanse and scenery were beautiful, it's overall a meh to me.

I played it for four months so maybe I'm too much of a "n00b" to give a good opinion, but that's just me! ;)

Guild Wars just bores me after a while, theres virtually nothing to do when you hit 20 and you have finished all your missions except PvP. Unlike WoW, you can go fish somewhere like you know live a life without a life!

I guess you cant really compare Wow with GW ..WoW is more for the hardcore gamer ( keeps you busy grindin and doing epic quests etc ) GW is more for casual gamers you do missions, dont have to grind all day for an item, pvp is fun Wow one is screwed up atm and best of all you dont pay a monthly fee :P

The reason i said you cant really compare Wow with GW is that WOW is an MMORPG while GW is CORPG is not massive or anything like that, correct me if im wrong though

more people play GW than WoW, mainly due to the monthly costs, atleast they did when they were released, may have changed by now.

Basically, if you like to game through the storyline and not get bored because there is alot of storyline, then WoW is for you. If you want to PvP, go for GW. Its quick to level to level 20, not much gameplay, and one hell of an awesome PvP system :).
