i havent got guild wars yet but i want you(if you play) to answer some questions for me 1) Is the game play very Long? 2) In WoW u get like mining herb and stuff in GW can you mine smith herb and stuff? 3) Is it good or bad having only 8 spells 4) Is there much land to explore? 5) Is it Lagy? i mean look at the graphics thats gotta make you lag
1) I think it is pretty long. I've played for 25 hours and im not at the half. (but maybe that is cause i do all quests and stuff) 2) Dunno. i think not 3) Good. If u had more the game would be to easy 4) Yes 5) No lag. And it looks good to me. nice spelleffects
The game play, I think (dont take my word for it as I have yet to reach level 20) has a large focus upon pvp content. So in that essence, its never ending as you can always pvp. Max level is 20, and it takes a fair bit of time to work up to that, but its not a huge time sink either. To my knowledge, there is no tradeskills persay for a person to learn in the game. You get items that are salvagable and you can salvage tradeskill items off of them with a salvage kit, but then you must see certain npcs who will create the item for you. You actually have more than 8 spells/abilities, you can just only have so many available to use at one time. It helps create a good balance and forces the person to develop a bit of strategy in their every day game play as well. There is actually quite a bit of land to explore and for the most part, you dont have to deal with the morons that usually accompany you in these type of games. There are many different zones and every zone outside of cities is an instanced zone so the only one in it, is you, or those who may be in a group with you. I have yet to experience any lag in this game unless it was caused by my own isp acting up. The graphics are amazing, but the game play is perfect. Even in a crowded city, or the starting point of the game, I experienced no lag at all during peak hours.

1. Yes Iv played 85 and not even close to donr, and that only with one character. 2. No. 3. You have a lot more than 8 spells you just cant have more that 8 equiped at one time, you can always swap your spells out when your in a town. 4. Yes, lots. 5. Not at all, and the grafics do rock! 1. There is six different character classes: Monk, Necromancer, Mesmer, Ranger, Elementalist, and Warrior. And you can chose two classes to play with. My character is a Primary Ranger, with secondary Elementalist. 2. They are just like clans in any other games, you can pick if you like some guilds and if you dont like others. 3. Not as long as other MMO's that I have played The max level is 20, But when you reach that level you arent close to the end. Guild wars does this to reward people who are good at the game, not on how long you play the game. 4. No, just one level Hope that helped some

Well,GuildWars is a pretty good game(kinda Short),but then they are going to make expansion packs in the future.

The ONLY thing that dissappointed me about the game is that is isn't as free roam as other RPG's, it's more of a controlled exploration zone, but it's still an awesome game!
Another Question 1) is the pvp as good as WoW 2) when you die do you lose items or is it like WoW you just get your body back with a ghost in the same spot? 3) is like rangers the only ones who can use bows and like mages the only ones who can use staffs abit like in WoW
