I just purchased an Xbox 360 Wire Controller for my GTA: SA, for the PC, because the wired USB cables for the Xbox 360 are compatible with PC games. However I've ran into some trouble while trying to change the controls. For one, I cannot use the 2 left/right bumper controls on the controller. Two; I cannot use the right analog stick to control the camera. So I would like someone to tell me how to change these controls to best fit my gaming needs. Or suggest another controller, that I could use that would run smoothly. All input is appreciated. Thanks. ^_^
just cause its compatible doesnt mean every button will work i use my ps2 controller on my pc and i cant use select or start.
i use a ps2 controller for my PC not all games will work like mlb 2k5 works perfectly but counter strike doesnt.
use the keyboard for when your playing on computer. Last time I played the computer version I think the controls were..... W or up arrow- up S or down arrow- down a or left arrow - left d or right arrow-right hydraulics controls are.. Left Shift Raise or lower the body NP4 Raises the left side while pressed when the body is lowered; lowers the left side while pressed when the body is raised NP6 Raises the right side while pressed when the body is lowered; lowers the right side while pressed when the body is raised NP2 Raises the back end while pressed when the body is lowered; lowers the back end while pressed when the body is raised NP8 Raises the front end while pressed when the body is lowered; lowers the front end while pressed when the body is raised Thats it I guess if you need more help just post.
Sometimes you can't use buttons on certain games. I've got a PC controller but on some games I can't use all the buttons
Yeah well, I didn't expect EVERY button to work, I just assumed at least both analogs sticks should work, considering on the back of the case it said it was compatible with dual axis analogs. However I went out and bought a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2. It's the same build as the PS2 Controller, and has been working perfectly. Thanks for the help, though. ^_^
