Alright, those of you who wanted to know Rockstar's secret about the creation of the logo, then please, read on. Create yourself a large-ish document. Preferably about 500x500, no smaller. Then, download the pricedown font. We will be using this as the GTA font. (Click here) On the document that you have created, fill it with any colour other than white or black. This will help to bring out your logo, and will make the environment easier to work in. Click here for the image. Now, remember that font you downloaded? Install it into your fonts folder. To do this, click Start -> Run -> Fonts -> OK. Then drag the font into the fonts folder. Voila, it's now installed. In Photoshop, use the type tool and drag a large-ish box in the document. Click here to see what I mean. Set the font size to 60pt, no less. Make sure your settings are as follows: Type GRAND and click the tick button up at the top. Drag another box, type THEFT and click the tick. You should now have something that looks like this: Now, drag THEFT so that the H runs into the R. Shown below. Perfect. Now right-click one of the text layers, and select rasterize. Do the same for the other text layer. Then, select the topmost layer and press CTRL + E. This will merge the two layers together, like so: The next step is simple...Just right click the merged layer, select Blending Options. Select Stroke, and use the following settings: And click OK. Voila! Your graphic should look something like this: Then all you need to do is add "auto". Using the same principal, just create another text box, type "auto", using the same font settings as the "GRAND" and "THEFT", use the same settings for the stroke line around the text, and you should get the finished product. Shown below. Enjoy! Next tutorial by me that I'm currently writing: The San Andreas logo! Edit - You can also expand the logo to different extremes. Here it is with a simple white outline.
