    ok well my compaq lcd or plasma or w/e the hell this monitor is has an outline of m desktop wallpaper and wont go away its VERY annoying.....

    what do you mean? a screenshot would help, did you try restarting?

    you cant use a sn shot

    it goes away like when my comp is off for liek 2 days straight....
    but comes back if i leave on for like an hour....
