    Hey umm anyone here like greenday anye cd. They are a great band for those who havent heard of them. My favorite songs are Jesus of Suburbia, Blvd. of Broken Dreams, American Idoit, Minority.

    LOL! Nearly everyone has heard of Green day, well most people. :P

    My favourite must be "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams". :D

    Aside from Good Riddance, they were a one hit CD band with Dookie. AI is them just trying to get some more money with crap. It's supossidly a rock opera (See: The Who), yet in the middle of it they throw in American Idiot to try to seem punk. Yet punk really died long ago. They aren't "punk", they should have went with what worked.

    Ive heard of Greenday when people tell me how gay it is. Ive never actually heard them, and I dont intend to.

    Greenday was good in the 90's. In 2003/04 they got pop'd. Blvd is waay too poppy for me. My fav. greenday song is brainstew.

    a genre of music can't 'die' ... it improves or changes.
    Music isn't even a living thing.

    I also have to say that punk isn't dead either... Like all other genres its just changed. :blink:

    Basketcase IMO is the best song by them. BTW, are you lot going to make your mind up when you wrongly try to put them in a genre, I've seen both pop and emo being thrown around.

    Also for a side note; just because you like old bands doesn't make you suddnly "cool" or all knowing.
