Personally, its between NWA and 2pac. NWA housed 3 of the best rappers of all time so anyone who says they lacked talent is mad. Dr Dre is still the best mixer on the planet, Ice Cube has had reknown success in not only solo albums, but with Westside connection, and Easy E's career spoke for itself, though short however. We then come to, who in my opinion, is the best lyricist there ever was (Rap wise). His beats (though many were mixed by Dre) were excellent, his style was personally my favorite, and he persona was never tarnished. He couldn't be truely brought down because no one was better to challenge him. People want to compare Biggie to him but there was no contest. Hell, 2pac's still releasing records and the man has been dead for over 10 years. I have to say 2pac all the way on this.

Now, I'm not a huge rap fan...but I've listened to a lot of rap...(When you have a Jamaican tennis coach rap is a big part of what you listen to)...I think Eminem is the best, and Twista is like the fastest rapper I've ever heard...

Daddy Freddy use to be the fastest rapper, also holding that title in the Guiness Book Of World Records for like 5 years. Then Tongue Twista, now known as TWISTA, came along, and took that title and has held it every since, also being placed in the Guiness Book Of World Records as the FASTEST RAPPER ever. And DA Brat, is like a Female TWISTA. She could hold the title as the fastest female rapper on the planet. Her UNRESTRICTED album can atest to that fact! ;)

Eminem lyrically is ONE OF the best rappers, which I still feel 2Pac, Nas, Rakim, and Andre' 3000 still holds their own lyrically, and metaphorically, in their dialog/verbology of speech and sentence structure, and multiples in their rap vocabulary and delivery.

50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and the entire G-Unit Crew are alright. But, not THE best rappers of all time.

LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, KRS-ONE, MC Lyte, Stetsasonic, and some of the Ole'School rappers like Busy Bee, and Kool Moe Dee are among the many talented and cultivated artists of the Hip Hop Era that made rap what it is today. Especially the SUGAR HILL GANG, and GRAND MASTER FLASH and THE FURIOUS 5.

And don't forget the Dee Jays, like DJ Tat Money, DJ Cash Money, Q-bert, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Spinna, DJ Scratch, K-La-Boss (EPMD's DJ), Dr. Dre', and many others.... Philly DJ's were the best.

Oh, I almost forgot, Sir Mix-A-Lot, and The Ghetto Boyz (Scar Face), and Luke Skywalker. They also gave us some good music too. Don't forget MC Shy D. (representing Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Cali), and JOE SKI LOVE (The Pee-Wee Herman rap song; which Steady B. later came out with DO THE FILA song, which borrowed from music samples of the PEE WEE HERMAN rap of Joe Ski Love..).

Oh, one more...one more: DOUG E. FRESH and the GET FRESH Crew, and SLICK RICK THE RULER!!! The Greatest Adventures of SLICK RICK is the best rap album ever, in my book!!!! Slick Rick was the schizz, yall!

Eminem can flow pretty good and he's got a badass line I heard it goes like this: "I come into a gun fight just to kill you, cut you so fast that when your blood spills it's still blue." That's a badass line.

    Lil Wyte is tight too

The whole of Three Six Mafia

    Yukmouth and the Regime Killers

Tech n9ne and Mystikal are the 2 fastest rappers in the world right around now.

    Tony Yayo

    Snoop

Chamillionaire has a couple of good songs too. And he came out with a song to an old war song. D/l it it's called True. :)
