Ok I have this graphics card, whenever I play a game or other things, the games will just freeze, I put my old Geforce 5500 in and it works fine, what could be the problem?
It could be a heat issue. It might also be power supply issue. I recommend at least a 500Watt. But it if just freezes might be a driver problem.
K, and if its the heat issue. how to fix it? I have the side of the case opened up, the card has its own fan but theres also one blowing air in from the back.
If it's a heat issue, you want to rearrange the fans in your case so that air flows through it. That is, air is sucked in the front and blown through the back. You can tell which way to point your fans by looking at the label. The label is on the side that air is flowing out of. More than likely though, it's a power issue. How big is your PSU and how much other stuff is it trying to power?
more likely than not it's either a faulty card or the power supply. if you want a reasonably priced fairly high quality unit... http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=PS-E5140GH that would do it.
