Do you only have PCI slots in your motherboard? Also, if do only have PCI slots the card isnt too bad. (6200 beats it, but its rare to find one, they sell out very fast and are hardly in stock)

Here is a decent one for 40 bucks cheaper

Download CPU-Z (google it) look on the mainboard tab and it will say graphics interface, tell us what it says there.

Also do you have a circut city near you, they tend to have better deals on graphics cards (I saw a 7600GS for 100 bucks, around the same as newegg)

normally if CPUz shows nothing, it just means you only have PCI, and maybe ISA if its old enough..

just get that, it is about the highest you can go PCI wise.

But if that was me, I would save that money for a newer computer..

This is a newer computer I got it december 12th of 2005. I guess I just didn't upgrade the pci or w/e.

I'll go get it today then. Is it hard to install?

uhh, you need at least a AGP/PCI-e with 256mb of video ram, then at least 1gb system ram, at least more than an AMD Socket A...

you should save up a thousand dollars at least if you like to game...
