ok to start first you copy and paste a picture that you've found here in photoshop i'll take a render of me,then you go to file-->new and make sure you check transparent beneath contents.

then you click on the magic wand tool if you don't know where it is here's a picture.

for this picture you set the tolerance to 10.

then you click on the blue color(so allways click on the 1 coloured spots)and then you press delete on your keyboard done with that?
you can start on your sig.

to fix this make a dupilcate layer of the top one then delete the background layer thats locked cause if you do not it will always make a forground color.with the locked layer gone it will be transparnet hoped that helped

    Here's how I do it.

I open up the image I want to make transparent, Select All, then Copy it. Then I bring up a new image, make sure the bg is on Transparent - It'll be the same size as the other one.

Paste the new image into the transparent selection - Then get your magic wand tool, and click on the Green, or white or whatever color parts and then hit delete.

It bring the transparent layer out.
