I'm excersizing my right not to comment on the question, but I do think that this topic has the potential to become very flame-ish. The question itself may offend people. You might want to rephrase it, although I don't know how.
Of course it's not evil. Some people misinterperated its teachings and decided to commit some..bad acts. Doesn't mean the whole religion is evil at all. If it IS evil, then blockedistianity is evil as well, since blockedistians have done FAR worse in the past then Muslims.
im just curious after a long debate with a guy at uni studying religion, ther was me, him and some guy who believes it is an evil religion.. i just want to know the majority viewpoint no offence intended.
One or two ? Jebus krist dude, never watch the news? Look at the cartoons that were made, thousands of muslims were on the streets burning flags and screaming about it.. more then a 1000 died.. PATHETIC
It's still not that many, not compared to other religions. Only uneducated people could possibly say it's an evil religion, because it just isn't, only the idiots who misinterperet it could be called "Evil". If it IS evil, then so is every other major religion...
I can agree to all religions that are major to be evil. and agreed Morv, either one uni-religion or non at all. Thats how we achieve peace. Wil that happen? No.
In the grand scheme of things, far more Muslims are peaceful than the ammount that commit acts of terror etc.
