I'm interested in getting a .com or .net for my site but I don't know much about this stuff...

    1) Name any good hosters from personal experience?
    2) What's a good price? Monthly, Annually?
    3) What's up with 'easy' FTP access?

    That's all for now....

Well, If you got cash i suggest www.serverbeach.com for a dedicated server which I have previously used. and for ftp, ftp stands for file transfer program, and its to get things onto your site easier than cpanel. and MOST IMPORTANT make sure you get cpanel

heh i dont have any paid hosting. the sites i do are gaming related so i get nice site hosting and forums for free... only bad part about them is that there is no Cpanel... :( other that that... 'tis great. soon i will be buying a domain but not quite yet.

Namecheap I think has the best domain prices at $8.88 a year.
