Good Audio Recorder/editor

    I'm looking for a good audio recorder/editor for windows. Has anyone got any suggestions?

    P.S. Switching to mac and using GarageBand isn't an option

    I'm looking for something a little more advanced. I'm in a band and we need to record our songs, that's what I need it for.
