I was wondering if anyone knew of a good alternative to ObjectDock as an application launcher. I have used ObjectDock for awhile, and its good for when it comes to altering background and icons for the software, but its a bit laggy on my system and its such a hassle to switch icons for the active software AND the docked software sometimes. Any ideas?

not exactly. Object dock is a PC-adaptable version of the object bar used on Apple computers, the bar where you place your software icons and acts as a program browser bar.
