Very sturdy, powerful, and the scope is pretty good also. It is probably CA's best gun. Their second best is their new Steyr Aug V2. As for TM, they are more for playing "softer". If you get a TM, you will probably end up upgrading it. Its easier just to get a pre-upgraded CA over a TM that needs upgrading.
go for the g&g umg. its the gun i have. i love it. it doesn't really overheat, the battery lasts a long time, 525 round high-cap mag, made very sturdy too. ill take a pic of it and post it up

And if you don't plan to go skirmishing, i wouldn't buy an AEG (auto electric gun) also, that echo gun..theres no way thats 350 FPS. I'd expect a TM electric sniper with a 12v battery to be about 370 FPS. Theres no way an out-of-the box M4 that probably takes a 8.4V could ever fire at 350 FPS
They never gave the site, but Attack of the show on G4 had a M16 with a M203 on the bottom of it the fired like 200 some rounds in one shot.

You want no springs and an AEG? that'll never happen, all AEgs have spring in them :/ Don't buy anything with an orange top, it basically means it's cheap+crappy.
