Wow your dad is pretty old then been in there for many years lol

 

Yea hes 47 and has been in iraq for about 1 year now.

Have you enlisted yet, are you doing the DEP?

I'm going the DEP route, as soon as I graduate this year I'm off to Basic. I've got Airborne and Ranger School slots on my contract so I'll end up with the Ranger Regiment assuming everything goes right.

And what if you get sent to Iraq and die? I would advise you NOT to join the military... You can volunteer and learn all the stuff for the doctorism without risking your life...

You won't make 87k per year in military, not even when you get out. You might make 60k considering RN's make about $20-25 an hour. I suppose it depends on where you work, east coast hospitals probobly pay more. I hope you can accept the fact that you may have to go to war, which is ----ty but there is always that chance when you enlist.

Actually i want to get into the Nurse Practionare field its a step under a doctor really nice field. And i'll only do about 5 years of the military
