No offence but thats not likely, over time they will usualy forgive but woman are not like guys where its a day or two and then they forgive and forget, but usualy they will forgive you over time. Just let her have her space, whenver you feel theres a moment to talk to her just take it and you don't nessacarily have to get her alone, its actualy better to tell her in a group so that everyone can see that your trying to get her forgiveness back.
I wouldn't recommend fighting someone twice your height. Even if you think you could pop the guy... don't take any chances. Violence won't solve anything, it'll just get the guy's friends to pop you. Best thing to do... talk to her. If it don't work, then sometimes you just have to rest in the fact that you know you didn't do it. It's a real pain when others say you said something you didn't... and believe me, I would want to break that guy's ribs. But you're better off just solving it like "civilized" people.

wow most of these ppl have prob never haad a gf before, first u talk to the girl alone, if shes always with somebody, call her. Then tell her exactly what happened, and say ur really sorry, then talk to whoever started the rumor, tell him to tel ur girl that he spread a false rumor and it was his fault. if u go up to him and fight, win -or- lose, you will lose, because the girl will think ur immature, and dnt no how to solve anything

Aww my poor DD. Looks like you're in a sticky situation. ;( I would first confront this guy, he obviously misunderstood you. Tell him that you were not saying you had sex with her, but you were talking about your ex. If he still thinks thats a load of bullsh*t, either pop him one or forget about him, it sounds like he may be jelous, he might like her too. If he does believe you and accept it, ask him if he could correct his mistake to this girl. And you tell her too, you can bring your friends in it if you need some kind of evidence.
