I used GIMP b4 I got PS, GIMP is a free program and it has not to many brush sets and filters ect. PS has a lot more programs and can recover from a freeze without freezing. GIMP on the other hand freezes quite often and you lose what you were working on. PS its The GIMP not GIMPSHOP.
