Hey, I was just wondering how many people besides myself use Gimp. I think it's a great program, that is a awesome subsitute to Photohop, which I am getting soon.

I also don't like when people act like Gimp is some horrible program that is incapable of creating good art. This isn't true at all.

    So, who uses Gimp? ;)

GIMP is alright, but tbh, Dr. Pepsi's tags are the only high quality(clear/clean) work I've seen from it so far..So I dunno, I might try using it soon.

I use GIMP great program that is up to par with PS.

    And @ FLip FLap:
I hate to sound rude, but most GIMPers are smart enough to convert PS Tuts into GIMP sigs or do their own style. And its just as easy to get brushes in GIMP as it is to in PS (I would imagine.)

I believe its a good sub for Ps. I myself use Photoshop and prefer it to Gimp but thats just me. I like it more because Filters and some of the functions are easier to use but on the other hand Gimp has stuff photoshop can't do.

You're completely right. Both programs have their strong points. Not many people understand that. ;)

I don't know if its the fact they don't understand it or they refuse to believe it.
