    well i couldnt find any other help forum on this site so ill just ask here. how do you make the background of one picture transparent without ruining the image you have now. lets say theres a picture of Cloud and the background is all white. how do i make the white background transparent without ruining the white on the cloud image?

    well u could just render out the cloud and transfer it to a transparent document. Or just put the tolerance on the magic wand at like 1 or something really low and hope it leaves ur "clouds" or whatever ur cuting out alone.

    yea lol not that hard but if u want a tut how to render out ur clouds there should b one somewhere if not ill put one

    plz do. im new to gimp, i would appreciate it.
    i just did this really quick. heres what i mean.
    heres what the image looks before i turned it into transparent background.

    now when i do, the white in the picture gets screwed up too.
