    when I save a gif and it's supposed to be trans, it isn't when saved.
    It used to be but now I can't save them as transparent, help?

    I thought only PNGs could be transparent...

    It kinda does

    .gif is only transparent in IE.
    If you are using FF or Opera thats why.

    Try saving as a .png

    just found out, the save for web option.
