Gif Wallpapers?

    Can you have animated GIFS;s as a wallpaper? I dont want to try because i dont want to loose the wallpaper i have know, but does anyone know?

    Yes it can. It's called Active desktop. However, it slows down your computer (especially on older systems..)

    EDIT: Actually just putting it there like you would with a normal wallpaper will work.

    Yep tried this but lags :D

    So reverted to normal wallpapers :D

    Just click browse on the wallpaper tab and get a gif ;)

    and btw I think your current wallpaper is located in \windows\internet explorer wallpaper.bmp

    custom wallpapers can be anywhere... they stay in the wallpaper list, tho.

    .gif lag the crap out of your computer, why would you want it...?
