intel's new Core 2 is tops. on almost everything. THE END. it kills, especialyl after overclocking. It's old Pentium M, and Core 1s are decent gamers as well. AMDs athlon 64s are the second best gamers slightly above the Pentium Ms and core 1s. Intel's pentium 4s Celeron Ds and pentium Ds are dead last. they have the most GHz of any of the processors but only do about half the work per GHz in many cases. if you can afford it, get a Core 2 duo, if you can't, get an athlon x2 3800+
