Ok im looking to get a PNY Verto GeForce 6600 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card for this Xmas. Im wondering if I have to get a new motherboard in order for this card to work well. Im not sure what kind of motherboard I have though. Here's the link for this card: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1113954027220 If you need to see what my pc is made of, here's the link for my pc: http://www.insignia-products.com/p-14-insi...desktop-pc.aspx
well, the card said above would not fit in any ports on your current computer. An AGP card will not fit in your PCI slot...
In other words, you have a PCI motherboard. In order for the card you want to run on your PC, you need to find it in a PCI version. Not AGP.
