i've havent done anything for three years, and this was my first attempt things i already know is the text is horrible
Not bad for 3 years break. Some things i notice. number one: the renders really don't go with the background, try choosing colours from the render in order to get a flow going. And also get some lighting in there to create some depth. Also the text stands out like a sore thumb, try blending it so it doesnt drag your focus away from the main focal points. number two: looks kind of mono-toned. The blue in the background doesn't really go with the yellow/brown. The text although it doesn't steal your focus, trying to read it is difficult. Also blend the render number three: probably the best out of the three, although it is simple. keep it up
