Now I tried to evoke some sort of photoartisticness in these pictures as I didn't want to just be taking random "cute" pictures of dogs. I worked on framing and close-ups and Depth of Field usage. My favorites are 'You're Always on My Mind' and 'The Paw'. You're Always on my Mind because I feel like a capture some serious personality show in both dogs. Haley (the foreground) looks as though she is in deep thought, while Tobey (in the background) is implied as the focus of that thought. This was of course my intention. I took a few shots in this view, and chose this one because of the slight blur on both dogs. The choosing of that picture over the sharp ones was to further enforce the togetherness and connection between the two dogs. If they are both out of focus, then neither is IN focus. The Paw because it invokes a lot of feeling. The paw in the foreground makes as though he is reaching for 'you' or the camera. The blurriness in the face leaves the emotion unreadable, leaving the viewer to feel what they do. Anyways, enjoy.
